Our support team is always developing better communication with each and every service user, by arranging workshops, resident meetings, and inviting other organisations to speak about issues that could assist in many aspects of integration; child care, education and housing. This ensures our standards continue whilst facilitating change thus bringing additional ideas for further improvements.
Each person, or family, has a caseworker specifically involved in assisting him or her to integrate into a new community. For many the process of registering with a local GP, school, or knowing what local transport services are available can appear quite daunting. Our staff assist in gaining the specific services required by each individual, and by continuing to develop attainable skills and outcomes, we believe that we equip a person to be fully independent when moving out of Astonbrook accommodation. |
